American Heart Association and DCP Midstream Partners Encourage Denver to “Learn and Live”

AHADCP Midstream Partners, the largest producer of natural gas liquids and a leader in the energy industry, is dedicated to the corporate health and wellness of their 3,200 employees. This is why the Denver headquartered business is partnering with the Denver American Heart Association (AHA) to raise awareness about heart health and good lifestyle choices with the 2nd annual DCP Midstream Charity Golf Tournament.

Last year, the event raised $465,000 for the 2012 AHA Denver Heart Walk while thirty-six of DCP Midstream’s strategic partners played on the popular Glenmoore Country Club golf course. This year’s event, taking place May 20th on the same course, will prove to be among the top fundraisers supporting the 2013 Denver Heart Walk. RAS & Associates is extremely excited to participate in the tournament for a second year.

Companies like DCP Midstream help the AHA reach their ambitious 2020 goal of “improving the health of all Americans by 20% while reducing deaths from cardiovascular disease and stoke by 20%”. An organization like AHA who thrives off training, fundraising, and research welcomes the support of organizations that encourage their employees to invest efforts in the community and corporate health initiatives.
